Frequently Asked Questions

Private lessons are billed on the quarter hour with a minimum time of 30 minutes for a lesson. 

1 hour = $80

45 mins= $60

30 mins= $40

A $5 per quarter hour fee is billed separately by the TGH Ice Plex at the start of each lesson.

Payment is due prior to beginning the lesson. Prepayment for lessons is preferred.

No refunds will be issued following the completion of a private lesson service. A credit for ice time may be issued under the following circumstances if a lesson is not completed:

• A player is injured during the lesson
• A player becomes sick during the lesson
• The player has to leave due to a family emergency

If a private lesson session needs to be cancelled, Hughes Hockey should be notified as soon as possible so that we may attempt to fill the time slot. Recurring cancellations for scheduled ice time may result in forfeiture of the preferred time slot.
